Built to last.
Simple to keep.

Every structure is built in solid wood with hardware-free joinery, and backed by a five-year warranty on structure and workmanship. Care is simple: reseal every three years and clean with mild soap and water.

Warranty

The Farm Mechanic warrants the structural integrity and joinery of every structure against defects in workmanship for five years from the date of installation, under normal use.

Warranty service includes materials and labor. Natural weathering of solid wood, such as graying and checking, is expected and not a defect.

Care

Reseal every three years

Resealing protects the wood and keeps the finish even. Your team can do it, or we can as a service.

Expected life

10 to 20 years, depending on climate, exposure and upkeep.

Weathering is normal

Solid wood changes color over time and may show fine surface checks. Neither affects structural performance.

Routine cleaning

Mild soap and water only. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive materials and power washing.

Year-round or seasonal

Structures can stay up all year; fabric coverings should be removed for winter, and umbrella canopies kept closed. Because everything assembles without tools, your team can take structures down for the off-season and set them up again, or we can as a service.
