Stands on its own weight.
Holds by geometry.

Every TFM structure stands on its own weight, without anchors, footings, or fasteners.

How it stays in place

Structures are gravity-stabilized: their weight and the geometry of the joinery hold them in place. They rest on grade, on a patio, deck, lawn, or paving, with nothing dug, poured, or driven into the ground.

Wind

Ratings depend on each structure's design and covering, and each product page lists its own.

  • Roofed structures: continuous winds of 60–75 mph, with gusts up to 115 mph. The Firewood Gazebo and Patio Table with Canopy are rated for continuous winds of 35–45 mph, with gusts up to 75 mph.
  • Fabric-covered and open structures, including pergolas: continuous winds of 60 mph, with gusts up to 115 mph. Fabric coverings can be removed when needed, such as for winter.

Snow

Roofed structures are designed for snow load to the location, from 50 lbs per sq ft and up to 300 lbs per sq ft where the region requires it. The Mini Gazebo and Patio Table with Canopy are rated for up to 30 lbs per sq ft.

Documentation

Specifications are on each product page. When a project needs drawings or specifications for a review, we prepare them as a separate service. What's included depends on what your reviewer requires.
